Message from the School Director
As the school director, I am honored to have been given the opportunity to serve my community and make a positive impact on the education system in our district. My journey to this position began with a deep passion for education and a desire to see our students succeed. Throughout my life, I have witnessed the transformative power of education. Growing up in a low-income household, I saw firsthand how education can open doors and create opportunities for those who may not have access to them otherwise. It was this realization that inspired me to become an educator myself and to dedicate my career to helping students achieve their full potential. Over the years, I have worked in various roles within the education system, from classroom teacher to curriculum coordinator and a director in public school system. Through these experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist within our schools and the broader education landscape. When the opportunity arose to serve as school director of Liceo Aguadillano, I knew that it was the perfect next step in my journey. In this role, I am able to use my knowledge and experience to shape policies and decisions that will have a direct impact on our students and their future success. My motto: “A goal without a plan is just a wish“, summarizes it all.
Message from The President:
As a mom of 3 students at Liceo Aguadillano I felt a personal obligation to get involved in their school not only for their own benefit, but for the welfare of our entire school community and the future of our Island. The school board president bears a great responsibility; but being surrounded by an amazing team gives me the strength to persevere and stay committed to achieve our goals of the New Liceo. I’m honored to be given such enormous trust from other parents for a second school year to come and look forward to working with all stakeholders to build a brighter future for our students and our community.
